Signature keynotes

Before the Proof

Why Your Best Decisions Will Never Be Explainable
Every founder in the room has made one move she could not justify on paper, and it worked. Karen names what was happening in that moment. She shows why the brain is built to talk her out of it the next time, and how to catch the signal early enough to act on it.
  • Real cases from business and law enforcement, worked through in front of the room

  • The framework for recognizing and trusting early signals in high-stakes moments

  • A short exercise the whole room does together, so the framework lands in the body and not only in the notes

Best for founders, serial entrepreneurs, and women running their own companies, carrying decisions that will outrun the available data.

The Nerve That Decides for You

The Physiology Underneath Every Judgment Call
The most useful thing Karen knows about decisions has almost nothing to do with strategy. It is a nerve. She covers what fight or flight does to judgment, why a braced body stops hearing its own intuition, and the 90-second reset she runs before every session.
  • Why a stressed body cannot make a clean decision, and what the vagus nerve has to do with it

  • A 90-second breath reset the audience can use before their next hard conversation

  • The one rule Karen gives every client about when not to decide

Best for rooms that want the science first. This is the most grounded entry point into Karen's work.

The Decision You Already Made and Have Not Acted On

Workshop Format
The gap between knowing and moving is where most founders lose a year. Karen shows where that signal turns up in ordinary decision-making, and what it costs to keep overriding it.
  • How to spot the decision you have already made and keep postponing

  • What the delay is actually costing, named in real terms

  • A working method for treating the signal as a strategic tool

Best as a breakout or half-day workshop where the room does the work in the seat.

The Intelligence Your Board and Advisors Cannot Give You

For Rooms of Founders and Presidents
A board has political reasons to stay quiet, the team has career reasons, and the advisor has financial reasons. Karen shows founders how to get an honest read when everyone close to the decision has a stake in the answer.
  • Why the people closest to a decision are the least able to name it

  • How to build one honest channel into your own decision-making

  • What containment makes possible that a peer group cannot

Best for mature founder networks, presidents' organizations, and executive peer groups.

06 / What the room says

Producers, judges, and the audience

“Karen Romine is the kind of speaker who doesn’t just inform, she transforms. She has a rare ability to create an immediate, meaningful shift in how people connect with their intuition. If you’re looking for a speaker who inspires clarity, confidence, and grounded decision-making, Karen is it.”
Loren Lahav · Producer, Own It Las Vegas
“At an event focused on women in leadership, she brought a powerful mix of wisdom, warmth, and no-nonsense strategy that left a lasting impression on every person in the room. Karen speaks to her audience, not at them, and the energy in the room was electric because of it.”
Hazel S. Evans · Founder & CEO, Highland Valley Digital · Attendee
“Psychic intelligence. A lot of people kind of hear that and they’re going, ‘What is that?’ And she brought it to practical decision making. She gave a great framework on how to make decisions quickly and efficiently for your audience. I think Karen would be a great selection for your audience.”
Donnie Knips · Marketing Executive, USA Today · Judge, WildX: Axium

07 / About karen

Corporate strategist. Psychic medium.

Karen Romine is a corporate strategist and psychic medium. Founders, serial entrepreneurs, and recently exited operators bring her the decisions that will not wait for proof. Behind the work sit four decades in corporate leadership, including $485 million in mergers and acquisitions. Local law enforcement and the FBI retain her to help find missing people and work cold cases. Out of that career came a method that runs strategic analysis and psychic intelligence as one system.

She founded The Black Table, a private advisory practice for builders carrying high-stakes, precedent-free decisions. Every engagement is delivered by Karen personally, with no associates between the work and the room. Her clients call her their secret weapon.

Karen won the WildX: Axium speaker competition in Beverly Hills in February 2026 and spoke at BookThinkers LIVE at Boston University, a sold-out room of 450, sharing the stage with Jim Kwik. She is the author of The Future of Decisive Choice: Bio-Hacking Your Mind With AI. Her work has appeared in USA Today, AP News, Business Insider, MarketWatch, Yahoo Finance, KTLA, PIX11, and Fox 8.

09 / booking questions

What organizers ask

What are Karen's speaking fees?

Keynote fees start at $7,500. Workshops, half-day sessions, and multi-part engagements are quoted separately. For business-first women's founder communities and masterminds, Karen has flexibility on fee, so tell her about the event before assuming the budget will not work.

Is travel included?

Travel and accommodation are billed separately from the speaking fee.

How far in advance should we book?

Karen asks for 90 days. She holds a limited number of dates each year, so the earlier the better. If your event is sooner than that, ask anyway.

Will Karen customize the talk for our audience?

Yes, and every talk is. Karen asks for a pre-event call with the organizer and, where possible, a short survey of the audience. The examples, the register, and the exercise are all built to the room.

Is any of it interactive?

Yes. Karen runs a short exercise the whole room does together, so people leave having felt the thing she is describing rather than only hearing about it. Nobody is singled out and nobody is put on the spot.

Can we record the session?

Yes, with an agreement covering how the recording will be used. Karen asks for a copy of the footage for her own archive.

What are the A/V requirements?

A lavalier or over-ear microphone and a confidence monitor if one is available. If audience questions are part of the session, a handheld mic for the room. Slides are optional and Karen often works without them.

Does Karen speak virtually?

Yes. All of her client work is delivered by Zoom and she is comfortable carrying a virtual or hybrid main stage. She has done it in front of a live ballroom and a streaming audience at the same time.

Is this a psychic reading for the audience?

No. Karen speaks as a corporate strategist about decision-making, and psychic intelligence is the input she brings to it. The talk is built around business decisions and the framework is usable by everyone in the room, whether or not they consider themselves intuitive.
